Rajasthan has been put on high alert and there was a risk of swarms entering Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana and Gujarat. Niti Aayog CEO Amitabh Kant said drones have helped in controlling locust over inaccessible areas and tree tops.
