Govt procures paddy worth Rs 92,121 cr so far at MSP; purchase in volume terms up 25%

The Food Corporation of India (FCI) and state agencies have purchased 487.92 lakh tonnes of paddy till December 31 as against 390.56 lakh tonnes in the corresponding period of the previous year.

The National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) has set aside a penalty of Rs 38.05 crore imposed by the Competition Commission of India (CCI) on 18 sugar mills and two trade associations.
