Crop share in India’s agri fell in FY20 from FY12: Govt

The gross value output (GVO) of cereals, at Rs 336.4 thousand crore, was highest among all the crop-groups in 2011-12. However, in 2019-20, GVO of ‘fruits and vegetables’ was Rs 383.3 thousand crore, about Rs 6,000 crore higher than that of cereals, according to the report.
