Foodgrain output seen at record 330.5 MT in 2022-23

India's foodgrain production is estimated to increase to 330.5 million tonnes in 2022-23, setting a new record compared to the previous year's 315.6 million tonnes. The Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare's third advance estimate projected a record production of wheat, rice, maize, nutri, and coarse cereals, sugarcane, and oilseeds.
