Assam’s bamboo-based refinery generates interest among private investors from varied sectors
The Assam Bio Refinery, a joint venture between Numaligarh Refinery Ltd, Fortum, and Chempolis, plans to manufacture ethanol from bamboo starting in March. The refinery has generated interest from energy sector investors, and the company expects returns on investment to increase from value-added products.
