Tomatoes to be sold at Rs 68 per kg in Farm Fresh Outlets to control prices says Tamil Nadu Minister

To control the rising prices of tomatoes and prevent hoarding, the Tamil Nadu government has announced that tomatoes will be sold at Rs 68 per kilo in Farm Fresh Outlets. Steps are being taken to sell them at Rs 60 per kg as well. The measure aims to provide relief to the poor and middle-class population in various districts. The minister stated that the reduced farming due to high temperatures and decreased supply from other states have led to the price increase. He assured that the situation is temporary and will be resolved soon.
