CRISIL Ratings predicts that higher domestic sugar prices and greater sales of ethanol will balance the increase in sugarcane costs and lowered exports in FY2024 leading to steady operating profitability for integrated sugar mills. Integrated sugar mills are those with sugar, distillery, and power co-generation facilities. The prices for these commodities are regulated by the government.
