Crop insurance claims worth Rs 2,761.10 crore under PMFBY were pending till 2021-22, with Rajasthan, Maharashtra and Gujarat being the states with the most pending claims. Admissible claims are usually paid within three months but some claims were delayed due to reasons like late release of premium subsidy and disputes.
