Tomato prices crash 37% in just a day in Maharashtra mandis to Rs 55 a kg!

Tomato prices in some Maharashtra mandis reportedly fell by 37% due to oversupply leading to 25,000 crates arriving on Thursday, up from 6,800 the previous week. The largest mandi delivered 15,000 crates daily, compared with 1,500 a week earlier, while at another hub arrivals surged from 5,000 to 10,000.
