India working to prevent disruption of ethanol supplies for gasoline blending

India is taking steps to avoid disruptions in ethanol supplies for blending with gasoline, despite recent directives against using sugarcane juice or syrup for ethanol production. Oil Secretary Pankaj Jain confirmed that the target of achieving 20% ethanol blending in petrol by 2025/26 remains intact.
