India's Oct-Nov sugar output drops as mills start late: Trade body

Indian sugar mills have produced 4.32 million metric tons of sugar, down 10.7% YoY, due to delayed operations in Maharashtra and Karnataka due to price disputes with farmers. This could lead to reduced export quotas and support for global prices trading near multi-year highs.
