Government subsidised foodgrain in consumer packs has become available through private retail channels, with the Bharat Dal brand being sold through Reliance Retail and Big Basket. The government agency Nafed has started selling Bharat Dal since end-October and is planning to soon begin selling Bharat Atta through private retail channels.
